Members of the Tonbridge Labour Party are local Kent residents living in Tonbridge and the surrounding towns and villiages.
A vote for Tonbridge Labour is a vote for real change on 1 May 2025.
Tonbridge Labour Party is standing candidates in all Kent County Council divisions in and around Tonbridge. Our agenda is to build the future, not block it like the Conservatives, Greens or Liberal Democrats.
We want to see better services and better roads and transport. Most of all, we want our local councils build a better future for our community's young people.
Callum is a public servant working in health policy. He moved to Kent for his studies and settled in Tonbridge, where he lives with his partner in South Tonbridge. Callum will fight for affordable housing for all.
Catherine is a former Sevenoaks District Council Labour councillor and a longtime Kent resident.
Claire works in finance, is a mother of three young children, and a Hartley resident for eight years. She works in finance, is passionate about local issues and improving life opportunities for children.
Matt works in public relations and corporate affairs in the agricultural sector. He and his wife moved to West Kent during the pandemic and since have a young son. Matt wants to see more and better provision of childcare by KCC.
Sarah is a Malling resident of 25 years, former Kent County Councillor, school governor with expertise in education and is passionate about supprting older people and those with disabilities. She is a semi-retired professor at the University of Greenwich.
Katie Garlick is a retired teacher and for some years has been a volunteer at the local school that her children attended. She is also a member of the Co-operative Party and has lived in the Malling area for 36 years.
Jack is parent of two boys, works in the construction industry. oved to the area 3 years ago, enjoys paddling on the Medway and is passionate about about education and making housing and childcare affordable.
